Documents Prior to the first appointment, the client/parent will receive login information for our online portal - TherapyNotes. Here you will be able to fill out all necessary paperwork electronically as well as receive email/text reminders about upcoming appointments. Intake appointment: The intake appointment is a 60-90 minute history gathering session. If the client is a minor then the intake appointment will be with the child’s parents and the child will not be present. At the conclusion of the intake appointment your counselor will develop a treatment plan and can begin seeing you or your child for weekly appointments. What are your fees? Neuse River Counseling is an out of network counseling practice which means that we accept payment upfront for services and provide clients with a receipt they may use to file with their insurance carrier. Please note that fees are reviewed annually and are subject to revision. Neuse River accepts all forms of payment and will place your card on file for convenient payment at later appointments.
